It was worth its 3 stars. Wanted to explore Newquay and this hotel was fabulous base for doing it. Room was very good value for money...
The bed was broken here.
-
Blue reef aquarium was just a short distance away. Excellent location and nice prices. It is right by the airport. You can also visit lusty glaze beach that offers excellent meals.
-
The bed was extremely comfy. Fantastic breakfast was offered in the morning. Just a walk down to tolcarne beach...
-
relaxed atmosphere and quirky room!! friendly hostess.
toilet positioned very awkwardly in bathroom and no shower, just bath.
-
Friendly host, good value, excellent breakfast, good sized room
Slightly old-fashioned decor. Bedrooms smelt of cleaning fluid

We found, Sarah, the hostess very welcoming. The facilities were excellent and just what we needed for our surfing break. We also took Rosie, my pet Labrador and she was made very welcome.
-
It was in a good location because it was far enough to be within walking distance of the heart of town. The B&B facilities met our expectations and I would recommend it to other visitors.

Homely + very comfortable. Owner very obliging + nothing too much trouble for her. She made us very welcome from the minute we arrived. Fantastic breakfast!
Road noise during the night but it would not stop us from staying there again.

the frendly staff and clean rooms

Great stay and Sarah, was a very pleasant owner and nothing was too much trouble.
-
Beautifully appointed bedroom and en suite bathroom - quite a lovely surprise as our first consideration when choosing had been the budget range price. Lovely friendly welcome and excellent breakfast. Another surprise was that the breakfast room and kitchen were open to each other, so we could see our food being prepared in the clean, modern kitchen. No hesitation to recommend it.

lovely family hotel, clean and friendly, comfortable and cheerful. Sarah is adorable and so are her pets !!! We slept well and would return. Recommended.
There is nothing to not like, this is a good place.

The owner sarah was very kind and welcoming, although we only stayed for one night instead of two as planned, and she did refind us for the night we did not stay.
The room had a supposedly private bathroom outside, as well as a (very) small ensuite with just a toilet and a washbasin. Unfortunately, the big bathroom could not be locked from the outside, so anyone could (and someone certainly did) use it, without bothering to clean it afterwards. In the room there was a porthole in the ceiling, which conveyed the light from the roof, otherwise the room would have been too dark, so we were told. This was true, especially at 5,00 am. (!). There was not one shelf in the room, so it was a problem to find a place to put our stuff, it was a good job there was a third bed, so we put everything there. The wardrobe was very small, and the night table and the chest of drawers were made for lilliputians. Luckily we did not have to stay for one week! Last, but not least, I was about to drink my tea in the morning when my partner noticed some cat's hair on the verge of my cup. Sorry Sarah, We liked you very much but you will understand if we won't stay again!
